We booked two rooms and were met with smiling faces, stellar service, and immense hospitality and trust. The surroundings were absolutely wonderful, bringing to mind the classic charm of a traditional seaside hotel (badehotel) with beautifully renovated rooms, dining room, and staircases. The rooms were lovely and spotless – truly faultless. Breakfast was delicious, once again accompanied by exceptional service from the delightful staff. It is certainly not our last time visiting!

Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. You are welcome to arrive later, but please note that the reception is unstaffed after 5:00 PM. We therefore recommend letting us know in advance so we can send you the door code and arrival instructions in good time. Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.

Both room types accommodate two guests and are styled with their own unique charm. The Tower Rooms are larger than our standard double rooms and are located in the hotel's historic tower, giving them a distinct layout and atmosphere. From here, you also enjoy a wonderful view directly over the town square and Faaborg's historic Bell Tower.
Our rooms are situated in different parts of the historic building. You might look out over the town square and the vibrant life in the center of Faaborg, or face the hotel’s quiet courtyard – and if you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the sea. If you have any specific requests regarding location or view, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

We are currently phasing out TVs from our rooms, so they are no longer available in every room. Where a Smart TV is still present, you can use it to stream via your own personal accounts. However, with all of Faaborg right outside your door, we hope the town catches a bit more of your attention instead.
Yes, you will find tea and coffee facilities in your room, so you can make a cup whenever you like. Naturally, we make sure to keep these replenished throughout your stay.
You can drive directly up to the hotel on the town square (Torvet) to drop off luggage and fellow travelers at the door. There are several free public parking options located about 200 meters from the hotel, where your car can remain parked for the duration of your stay. We will send you information in advance or guide you to the best parking spots upon arrival.
Bicycles can be parked in our quiet courtyard behind the hotel. The area is uncovered and unlocked, but it is secluded and set back from the street. If you have a particularly valuable bike, we can offer locked storage in our shed upon request. Capacity is limited, so we recommend arranging this with us in advance.
Unfortunately, no. As Hotel Faaborg is housed in a historic building dating back to 1916, we do not have an elevator. All of our rooms are located on the first or second floor and are accessed via stairs. If you have difficulty with stairs, we recommend contacting us prior to booking so we can help determine whether the hotel is suitable for your stay.
Our cozy restaurant is open for breakfast, but as a rule, we do not serve lunch or dinner. However, many of Faaborg's finest dining spots are just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, and we are always happy to share personal recommendations or help reserve a table for you.
We cannot guarantee early check-in before 2:00 PM, as it depends on when the room is ready after previous guests depart. However, if your room is ready earlier, you are naturally very welcome to check in. If not, we are happy to store your luggage while you explore Faaborg. Late checkout can sometimes be arranged for an additional fee and must be agreed upon with us in advance.
We naturally hope you won't need to cancel, but we fully understand that plans can change. If you have booked a single room, you can cancel free of charge until 12:00 PM (noon) the day before your scheduled arrival. For later cancellations or no-shows, 100% of the stay's total price will be charged. If you are reserving multiple rooms, different cancellation terms apply, which will be provided during the booking process.
Yes, it is possible to reserve multiple rooms – and for special occasions, even our entire boutique hotel. When the whole hotel is yours, we can also assist with customized catering and create the perfect setting for shared meals and memorable moments in the restaurant by prior agreement. Please contact us directly with your preferred dates and requirements, and we will explore the possibilities to create a tailored solution for you. Special reservation and cancellation terms apply when booking multiple rooms.
